About Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠
In order to be consider for Super Lawyers®, an attorney must first be nominated by peers within their legal community. The more nominations a lawyer receives, the more likely he or she will be thoroughly evaluated by the patented review process of Super Lawyer®; however, informal nominations can also be used to bring an attorney’s work to the attention of this organization. After the best nominees are studied in-depth and a secondary peer review is conducted, only a small amount will be selected to Super Lawyers® – only 5% of attorneys will receive this title each year.
A Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ member belongs to an even more prestigious group. In order to become a Rising Stars℠ member, the attorney must have been in practice for 10 years or less, or be under 41 years of age. Only 2.5% of attorneys in each state, or even less, will be selected to the annual list of Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠.
About Scott Orgel
Mr. Orgel obtained his law degree from Fordham University School of Law in 2004 and was admitted to the New York State Bar only one year later. Since he began practicing law, he has always focused entirely on divorce, child custody, and family law cases. This has given him insight and knowledgeability about these areas of law that are simply unmatched throughout New York, if not the country as well. In addition to his multiple Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ ratings, Scott is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
